That kinda compression is stupid thats why he broke a focken rod. So you are going to not buy those rods cause of one guys problems? If you are not planning on making over 300hp then just use B16 rods thats what I did in the D16z6 just had the machine shop resize the wrist pin.

thats why i keep questioning why everyone uses eagle rods. oh and 242 all motor is not the same as 300whp turbo. all motor puts alot more stress on the internals at the same hp level than a turbo.
and 15 cr isnt too much for a drag all motor car. but this is what happens when you arent informed or cheap out on yoru build and use shitty eagle rods

All the mods he had listed cost quite a bit of money. I don't see why he didn't spend a little extra and just get some crower rods.
