ok so i have decided to purchase a HID kit for my car (low beam conversion only) H4 9003's. i have read some of the head light reviews at the top of this forum and learned alot about the burning temps and the light that is cast from lower temp to higher. my question is will HID's produce the same light ammount no matter what the temp (color temp) or do standard halogen rules apply (higher the temp kelvin =less lumens but prettier color) do hid's only offer this temp difference in the bulbs for looks? the ones that i want have 4 different temps 5000, 6500, 10000, and 13000. based on what i have read i think that 5000 temp bulb would be the brigtest but not most colorful. im not too concerned with color all that much so i would be satisfied witn some bright white bulbs. anyone know any info on this?

I find it amazing how you didnt think that maybe the 13 people who viewed this question dont know the answer and didnt want to give you false info.... 5000k should give you a nice crisp white, and the higher in K you go the more blue, and eventually (8000-13000 K) will give you a purple.. but i dont recommend doing this unless your retro fitting True HID projectors into your halogen housing, because it will give you nasty glare and make it hard for oncomming drivers to see.
