Ok my dad was telling me this story he heard a long time ago and I thought I'd share it.
He was at a party and this guy he knew had a buddy with a Road Runner that had a hopped up 440. He said they knew a guy that bought a Camaro that was an actual Trans Am racing car. The guy had to put head lights, break lights, tag, and all the other stuff on it to make it street legal.
Anyway, these guys were at the Camaro owner's house and headed out to go to a party somewhere. The guys in the Raod Runner were playing around and they got onto the beltway that goes around Washington D.C. Once they were on the Road Runner hammered down on it and got up to around 120.
The passenger in the Road Runner told my dad they saw these headlights pull fast up beside them and it's the Camaro. Now the driver of the Road Runner has the gas all the way down and has the engine opened all the way up. The Camaro just sits there staying with them and the guy driving it sticks his hand out the window and holds up three fingers. The guys didn't know what he was trying to say but they found out when he shifted into 4th gear and left the Road Runner behind.
My dad asked the passenger in the Road Runner what this Camaro had in it and he said it was a stroked 377.
