Hi, did you lift the carpet and there are no mounting provisions for the brackets?
It is my understanding that they should be there.
There was a thread about someone doing this.
Just in case that you are not aware of this:There is no foot well, it seems to be for kids only.
There is almost no cargo room behind the bench.
Take care, Eggert :bananasmi

I'm not sure if there are any mounting holes in the older body style Yukon's/Denali's. A 2000 Denali is the older body style right?
Sorry, I also don't know the measurements.

GMC didn't start making the Denali's in the newer body style until 2001. The 2000 Denali's are the old body style. Here's (http://motors.search.ebay.com/denali_Yukon_W0QQfclZ3QQfiscZc6001QQfposZ63461QQfr ppZ50QQfsooZ1QQfsopZ1QQsacatZ6249QQsadisZ500QQsame yZ2000QQsamsyZ2000QQsofindtypeZ22QQsofocusZbs) an eBay link of all the 2000 Denali's for sale. Notice they are all the old body style. Which is probably the reason for not having the 3rd seat mounting points under the carpet.
Here's a quote from Automotive News:
GMC's upscale Yukon Denali is redesigned for 2001 and receives major upgrades in structure, ride and performance. Also for 2001, the line is expanded to include the Yukon XL Denali, a vehicle based on the Yukon XL/Chevrolet Suburban. The Denali's grille, which is pierced with more than 300 cooling-air inlets and polished to a brilliant sheen, has the look of industrial architecture. Both models feature General Motors' high-output 330 hp Vortec 6000 V-8, which is exclusive to the Denali line. To take advantage of the 330 hp and 370 pounds-feet of torque, the vehicles are equipped with an advanced full-time all-wheel-drive system that requires no driver interaction to reap optimum performance.
