paint

I have a 97 bonneville & i/m trying to find out where the paint code is located on th car. I looked on the door jamb but it's not there. I heard it may be in the trunk but I can't find it.

Its located on the inside of the trunk lid.On my 97 GTP it starts with a WA then the paint code is a 4 digit #

I don't see it in the trunk anywhere! There are 3 places where it looks like there was something removed but no tag. Could it be anywhere else?

The paint code is on a label very similar to the one above but is on the spare tire cover on the Bonnevilles.
