Help

Well just last week i changed all the tires and rims on my 01 galant and replaced them with 4 new rims and tires.Just today, i started to notice a knocking sound when i drive slow.Its not always there and it only happens when i drive slower than 25 mph.It must be coming from one of the wheels on the driver side since it only happens when im moving.Does anyone know what this can be? Please help before i go get jerked by a mechanic.

Did you have a mechanic replace your tires (dumb question)? Did he sabotage your car? (It happens more than you think.) Sounds like the strut boot is knocking or something. It the wheel too big and hitting something? I would take it apart myself and look at it, but maybe you are not the type to do that. Do you have a mechanic friend, or a mechanic that you can trust?

are your wheels tight? i know it sounds daft but wheels studs should be checked after 15 miles
