Change-over?

I have a 1986 Chevt AstroVan. The Haynes Book I have has a section on "Manual Transmissions ab Clutch Assy." Do any of these really exist? If so is there any thing out there besides the van that would have them and would be more prolific? I HATE automatic anythings but so far I really like my van and intend on keeping it. I'd be willing to make the change over if I could find the pieces.

Also is there a manifold, conventional carb and didtributor that might work on this models V6? Don't much like computers on my vehicle either.

I've seen an Astro with a 2.5L 4 cylinder, 5 speed manual. I haven't heard of a manual for the 6.
I like manual shift too, but not on a 4500 lb vehicle and towing too. Automatics make it simple.
Computers: I'm not fond of them either, but they're a cheap way to meet pollution specs. Learn to live with them, or try a bicycle.
If there was a cheaper way to meet pollution spec, don't you think somebody would be using that system?

This is the first I've been able to respond to these replies. Glitch of some kind.

Is there anything else besides the Astro that uses it? I've never seen one in an Astro, 6 or 4.

I think it's the smae 5-speed that would be in s-10s of the same era.
