Hello,
Searched the forum, but didn't find exact problem. Thanks for your help.
89 F-150, 302, 5 liter, EFI. Replaced ignition module and coil 1 month ago. It ran fine. Yesterday, engine won't spark/start. Changed pick-up coil twice. Coil and module both pass ohmmeter tests with proper numbers. Do not get intermittent flash of test light while testing primary coil resistance as Chilton book says should happen. With connector attached to coil, I get solid light on test light. With connector off, nothing. Rotor is spinning fine. Didn't have right adapter for checking codes, so haven't done that.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Wagoneermaster

Try a new dist cap!!
I used to have a car that had an aftermarket ignition,
and it burned out the center of the cap (it still looked ok)
on a regular basis, used to keep a old one in the car just in
case.
