Hey guys and gals! Was just curious to know everyones, or whoever would like to post, there rim and tire sizes. Was looking to go bigger then the stock tires and possibly bigger then the stock rims on my 98LT. Would just like to see a list of the sizes everyone has now and if they have had expierence with bigger then stock 235/75/15 on there stock 15x7 rims? Thanks for the input!

Blazee, how do you like that tire setup? It's pretty much the same tire and size I was thinking of going to when I need to replace.

I really like it. The tires get fairly good traction, and they last a long time. The size is perfect for my taste, they take up most of the wheel wells, but don't ever rub. They look a lot better than those little ass stock tires too.

Sweet...that's exactly what I was hoping you'd say.
Thanks!

Wow thanks hopefully more people post. Was wondering if anyone has had any rubbing issues? I really want to go wider and taller without lifting.

I'm all stock in the rims department. I have the 'optional' alluminum wheels. Despite thier hefty-ness, if you keep them clean they look pretty nice for stock wheels.

Wow great pics and great info. Anyone fit 31x10.5x15's on there stock blazer without any rubbing or anything? Or has anyone tried it and what were your results?

I've read about someone putting 31X10.5's on a 1st gen blazer, but there were rubbing issues only under hard turns and big bumps. I went with 30X9.5's because of this. If you lift your truck 2" 31's would be fine.

hmmm that is food for thought. I am torn between going with 30x9.5x15, 31x10.5x15 or 265x70x15. Maybe the lift kit would be fun to do. I just want the more aggresive look and great traction in the snow

BE CAREFULL WITH MORE AGGRESSIVE TIRES UNLESS YOU DONT CARE ABOUT LOSING ALOT OF GAS MILAGE.

ANother question about this tire sizing issue.... I have read and heard from numerous people that you need to stay within 3% of the factory size to ensure proper braking among other things, how true is that? I mean safety is a concern, I don't want awesome aggresive tires and have my brakes possibly fail! What about bigger tires and powertrain issues? Tranny damage? Rear end damage? Are those also things I need to be concerned about?

Smaller tires equal faster speed, bigger tires will mena slower speed. So if I put 31's on if the speedometer read 60 I would really be doing about 55. www.1010.tires.com tells you all the combinations of tires and plus sizing and all that and also gives all dimensions and speedometer accuracy

You got it backwards. If you put bigger tires on, your speedo will say you are going slower than you really are. Trust me...I have put over sized tires on every truck I have ever owned.

You are absolutely right, my apologies. I am looking to go as big as possible with out hurting anything. Once again thanks for setting me straight before I got a huge ticket! ;)

30X9.5's are just over 3% larger than stock. I have not noticed any braking issues related to the tires yet. My brakes have never been perfect though. Now they are about the same as with my stock setup. As for the speed thing. At 100KM, I'm really doing 103 and change. I'm happy with that.
