Side mirror damage, on/off buzzing noise

I hit my passenger side mirror last night and the glass popped out of the housing. I popped the glass back in but I am now hearing this low buzzing noise that comes and goes and it seems to be coming from the mirror area. I am taking it in to be looked at Monday morning, do you have any ideas what could be causing this?
