cured wet carpet problem. tried duct tape idea as discussed earlier. it did not work in all selections of vent ,a/c for me for some reason. did not want to wait for the parts,so we used a biscuit pan and cut it it fit over the top of the flap door that connects to blower under cowl. . secured it with top quality duct tape. ran alot of water on it while observing under dash in car. no more wet carpet now.
