Ever heard of it?

Hi everybody on this forum.. Im new here and just wanted to get a thread started so I can chat with you all.

I know I already asked this in the poll that lionsbane started but I wanted to start my own thread about it so the topic dont get changed on the poll.

Have any of you heard of a Suzuki Vx 800? Its as far as I know a pretty rare bike. only made for like 3 years.. ( I THINK )
like I said in lionsbane's thread, great starter bike, I almost got a yamaha 400 and im glad I didnt because I think it would have been to slow for me. This bike is a great all around bike, looks sporty, has lots of power in every gear,and yet you can go cruising on it and not get worn out real quick.

As I recall, the VX800 was sorta like a bigger version of the GS-family in the early 90's, yes? I had a friend who had one in maroon... had a comfy backseat (this was when I was still learning how to ride my own bike, so I could only ride as passenger). It was a neat bike, but alas, he sold it.

yes they are neat kinda like an all around bike. they have the same vtwin as the intruder but bored out more.
I dont know why they didnt sell very well because I love the thing. I guess its just my taste of bikes.
although some day Id like to get a full sports bike this one will do for now.
