I about to buy new shocks but still undecided which one to get.I can get the Illumina for $360.00 a set and the HP's for $250.00 a set.Is the $100 difference well worth it????

I used to have illuminas in my Integra for 2 years, before I went with full coilovers. They worked great for me, I had no problems and I would say they are worth the price. I believe the difference between the illumina and the hp is the adjustable dampening.

i always recommend adjustables over non-adjustables especially when using lowering springs. At least you will have some control over how the car feels.

Is the car lowered? How much is lowered?

They are both good struts. I use AGX and a Pro kit on my car with no complaints.

In my opinion Illuminas are better than AGX, but not by much.

i used both hps and illuminas. if you are dropped more than 1.75, then, you should go with the illuminas.

if you are dropped more than 1.75, then, you should go with the illuminas.

If you expect the full potenial out of a suspension lowered more than 1.75" then you should use Koni Sports. Tokico and KYB are stock length struts which don't function correctly, bottom out suspension easily, limited suspension travel, & over worked suspension. Not to mention the struts like will be cut in half.

I'm not saying they aren't good, just saying what's clearly stated about stock length struts and slammed cars(1.75" or more).
