In your guys' opinion, what is the best bang for buck bike out there? One that has pretty good power, yet is reasonably priced?
Just wanna get an idea of what to keep an eye out for.

SVs, especially slightly used. I paid less than what people usually pay for old Honda F3, but got this 02 650 with less than 820 miles and other accessories (helmet, rear stand, tanks bag, etc). low 12s 1/4 mile.
New SV1000s can be had for $ 6500-7000.

A 99 ZRX1100 can be had for $3-3500. BFB, they're hard to beat. Depends on what type of bike you're looking for. Cruiser, sport, dual sport.......Honda 600s are everywhere and pretty affordable.

now we're talking my era :crying:
try the gsxr600 or zxr6 from around '95
they will have more "excitement" than the cbr600 or yzf600
both have good power but by this time they will be quite used. many will have mods already like (in the case of the gixer) yoshi pipe, filter and kit which will save you money.
they don't have the styling of the current batch of bike but will still turn heads given the right bike

im with zfanatic. i had an sv650 and i loved it to death. they are cheap, easy to find, and can be made to keep up with the older cbrs, gsxr, and ninjas. maintenece is cheaper because you are riding a v-twin. plus you will stand out more cause not everyone has one. so basically "go naked". oh yeah no plastics to replace when you wreck it.
