Infamous family member?

OK well i know i'm not active here cause well i'm not the most comferting person nor do i really have feelings to say but I've found somthing out and its really tearing into me more confused then angry sad ashamed etc but I thought i'd give you guys and gals a whirl. Honestly with this i do feel better talking to strangers being you wouldn't be able to get who is bugging me.

So I'm a bit of a throw back in a way being i really am proud of my family on both sides. My dads we know vividly from 1700s up and pretty well till 1500s then thats all but on our best guesses we can asume pre roman times. So we've put some work into it.

My Moms side we know about 1600s and theres is some real shadyness in there at the end being they were higher class english records and what not were kept but often played with if a family member was shaming the name.

Who we all think it is was a real sleaze and anyone who knows the slightest US history knows him and probbbly feels same way.

now after all that info what is up is this really bugs me alot knowing a good chanse according to the person who helped us dig up recoreds and what not *a pro at this *

So well what should I do how should I feel any one have anythought I really doubt Stalins kid posts here but what do you do if your related to history book bad guy? Should I just admit who? Never speak about it.

Its just wierd and some help would be nice thanks a ton.

I have some cousins who can't stay out of jail. That's just life. All the bad people are related to someone. I say fuhget aboddit... it doesn't change who YOU are. I think it would be cool. You're related to a super famous person who was a major part of history. Thats awesome. Unless its Michael Jackson, then I would be ashamed. (dugie...)

Funny you should mention that, Jet-Lee...

My great great grandfather owned a farm in Missouri, close by where I live, and before he passed he used to tell stories of these guys that were excellent gunmen. They'd ride their horses and slide underneath them and shoot cans off of fenceposts. He always talked about these brothers. Turns out they were the James Brothers. In fact, I still ahve a wanted poster that he passed to me of Jesse James. And one of Sam and Belle Star. Turns out great grandpa wasn't the most upstanding citizen. If I can get me a digicam, I'd be able to get a picture.

apparently jesse james off monster garage is related to the real jesse james of ye old times, not directly but somehow through the family tree.....anyways benedict arnold was just goin with who he thought would win the war ^_^ which was britain, britain basically said "join the dark side"

meh if it makes you feel any better half my family is all german who we dont like to talk about....they erm supported the wrong ppl in ww2 i thinks...we are pretty much severed that connection and no longer really keep in touch with any german relatives ^_^

Same here. No matter what the family has tried to do he can't stay away from the people he should, nor stay away from the really bad drugs. Sometime last year he ended up in ICU after ODing. His so-called friends dropped him off in the emergency thing outside of the hospital and took off. Everyones pretty much done helping him out b/c they've tried for his entire life and he doesnt want to listen to anyone.

yeah, nobody cares anymore. That war was a longass time ago. With our generation, if it was before we were born, or any time during the eightys, we don't give a shit.
