Could any one tell me the fuel cut off switch is located? A friend of mine was driving his truck and it just died on the freeway. Engine turns over but I don't think its getting any fuel. I played with a dodge b2500 van with a 5.9 liter ..there was a flat tire on the front passenger side and a piece of the tire hit the inside fender triggering off the fuel cut off switch. Which was located in the passenger side kick panel...i was thinking that maybe these fords would have the same cut off switch..I dont know the correct term for it. But, any help would be greatly appreciated..

I found the switch (inertia). But, that isnt the problem. I changed fuel filter. Check for power at the fuel pump, no visible signs of fuel leak hmm... truck cranks over , but doesnt seem to wanna start. can ..anyone tell me what to check for next. I also tried a little starter fluid, just a little ..but no cookies.

you could have a low presure oil pump problem,a cam shaft position sensor going out,or you could injector presure regulator and solinoid going bad. do you have a check engine light on or a retreived code. this would help.
