ANybody know how to fix an inop horn? When I push the button on the steering wheel, I can hear a click under the hood up by the windshield. But no horn. Anybody help?

it's either a loose wire on the switch or on the actual horn or your horn is shot

on the probe and some other cars inside the stearing post under the wheel they have a part called a spring clock, it has a ribbon cable inside that hold the wires for the air bag, cruise control and the horn, it wraps around inside the round black case as you turn the stearing wheel, if your stearing assembly was ever removed and the spring clock was not set corectly when put back in, when the wheel is turned to lock it could put too much tension on the ribbon cable and pull it loose, breaking the connection, or as in my case the ribbon cable was folded inside the round black case and connection broke by the wires folding.
you can replace it and that should fix the problem, but first ground the green wire that comes out of the spring clock (on the under dash wire side)to see if wiring is good up to that point, if horn blows the problem in spring clock, and check for continuity for wires on spring clock, you can do this without removing spring clock, just incase yours is not the problem and set correctly so you won't have to worry about installing it incorrectly.
I priced one at a parts yard for $45, I fixed my own by opening case and joining the broken ribbon cable, I only fixed horn conection at this time (for inspection purposes) but may fix cruise later, but the airbag, NO!!!, my last experience with an air bag gave me a black eye and a headache for three days.
