Hello.

I have a 95 civic ex coupe auto(blah)..and wanted to do a few mods, and wanted to know from you guys what the best of each is for the performance and money end.

1) header (dc?)
2) Coilover springs
3) Cat converter

And...

1) What rims would look best on my car..im sticking toward motegi's, but just not sure which model of the rims would look best..any help would be nice (its a light gray civic coupe)

2) I need 2 new speakers in the back.. what speakers are good sounding and good $ wise.

Thanks

You might as well just stick to the springs/ rims and speakers. Im not sure on the motegi rims I only know some styles of more Rota and jdm type wheels.

A catylitic converter and a DC header wont do much performance wise for you. You probably wouldent even feel a difference.

Not really a big buff on sound but I have some polk audio speakers and they sound pretty good. I had some kenwoods in my old car they sounded decent too.

so..what coil overs should I get?? Im not a big car guy, not sure what some of the stuff does, etc..

I live in Ohio, so in the winter, I want to raise the car because it is very low to the ground as it is now...

and what do give you good power boost, since dc header and new cat dont...i have aem cold airintake and catback exhaust...so, what would be good performace boost, besides turbo.

The best thing you could do is convert from auto to manual. Or even just get a swap, but your probably not ready for that yet.

My buddy has some skunk 2 coilovers with aftermarket struts on his 97 hatch and it rides pretty nice, Havent had any other experience with any other coilovers.

Teins for reliable coil over suspension
DC ceramic 4-2-1 header
Hood scoop? go with Carbon fiber VIS or Fiber Images
Strut bars you can go with DC as well or neuspeed, spoon, skunk2 just go on ebay and look or go to froogle and type in what you want.
Body kits go to wings west web site see if you like any of those.
Do some reasearch on your own if you have no idea whats to buy. View message boards and pic post to see what you think you would like on your car.
Dont just do buy a bunch of crap with out knowing about it. Do it right the first time so you wont have to do it again.

Don't be a ricer. You car won't get anywhere with bolt-ons. Save the money that it costs to get the performance mods and ricer mods and save up for a turbo or sc. Maybe second hand? Your car won't go any faster with those mods, and you will look like a dork in a 17 second civic w/ hoodscoop and body kit. Rims are suspension are okay, but money could be better spent if you want your car fast.
