turbo saturn?

i heard somewhere that you could turo then run nitrous to a saturn ?
if possible what wouls be some preperations?
what is a rather large turbo for a saturn
or like a kit?

you can do just about anything you want to almost any car so it's very possible that someone has already done it. you should check company websites for kits for you car first (hks, greddy, NOS, Nitrous Xpress, etc) then if you don't find anything you could get info here or at your local performance parts store.

I would go with something like a T-25 or a T-28 for a saturn. You can run a turbo and nitrous on virtually any car. How long your engine is going to last is another problem.

Preps include:

-See if a turbo kit even exits for the saturn, if not, then a shop or you will have to fabricat your own kit.

-Some means of fuel management. I highly doubt being that its a saturn, that there is some tuning software available, but I could be wrong. Im not that familiar with the Saturn platform. Upgraded fuel pump and injectors is a must.

-I would at a bare minimum tear down the engine and upgrade pistons and rings to run a turbo and nitrous set up.

-Upgrade clutch and flywheel, because the stock clutch is going bye bye after an upgrade like this. Upgraded axles might be in order too.

Id say for a high quality turbo kit (i.e. s.s manifolds, downpipe, etc, intercooler...basically everything needed to make it a bolt on) and a nitrous system, your looking at about $5,000. Throw in another $3,000 or so for drivetrain upgrades.
