Hey guys im new to this forum so be nice! :)
anyways I have a 95 eagle talon that Turbo Trix racing swapped a 93 7 bolt into for me (yes i know the 7 bolts arent that good but its a 1g rebuilt 7 bolt.. should hold for a while). anyway the car has a GM blow thru setup v 2.02(newest) MAFT, 3 inch gm MAF, a big 16g turbo, stock injectors, stock side mount, Apexi turbo timer, buscher racing Manual boost controller thats about all i can think of that relavent to this question.
so here we go: since i got it back from the shop its had a horrible hesitation till 3K rpm's unless you floor it when you are light on the gas it bogs and then the turbo will like catch up with the engine and slam you into the seat. Turbo Trix installed a potentiometer on the ECU and it doesnt seem to be helping. It was doing this before i installed all the MAFT and stuff so i know its not something i caused. I have heard that you sometimes need to switch the injector plugs to change the pattern on the 95-96 4g63t's that have had a 1g swap done.. somethign related to the crank angle sensor being converted to a cam angle sensor. I'm thinking abotu just buying DSM link to override everything and correct it if that can be done. It doesnt throw a CEL light but my Car chip data logger says its got Random misfire. I'm done with turbo tirx because i am VERY unhappy with the way things were done on the car (I/m me for details). Anyone have any ideas on this problem or have a RELIABLE shop i could take the car to in New Jersey?
