96 Blazer w/auto tranny. While trying to diagnose a non working a/c something happened. I took out the a/c relays on the firewall and replace them with new relays and now my daytime lights no longer work, my auto lights no longer work, the guages no longer work, the warning buzzer is on when I manually turn on the headlights, the alternator isn't charging the battery, dome light doesn't shut off like it use to when you put it in drive. I put back the old relays and there was no change. Could I have shorted something?

To me this is a computer problem. Anyone else experience this?

Other than that the Blazer runs fine with no problems.

P.S. I HATE CARS

Update. I replaced the battery and terminal. The old terminal basically disolved while removing it. Hooked it back up and there is no change.

Thanking anyone in advance for help.

Did you have the battery unhooked while you were doing this?

Have you checked all your fuses?

I had checked them prior. After buying a wire diagram I went through and double checked the fuses and guess what? No. 4, the guage fuse, had blown. Replace that and now everything is good as new!

To all that have the AC Delco battery, its a p.o.s., get rid of it. It leaks near the positive terminal which will literally eat through the terminal bolt and copper connector and can cause problems. Thank god it didn't cause any damage to the ECM or sensors.

Thanks BlazerLT for responding!

Ps. Anyone need a copy of the wiring diagram for the a/c just email me.
