is there a specific tool out there that adjusts the headlights for 96-98 civics? one of mine is toward the sky because of prior body work and i see where the cog is to adjust the level but im assuming i need a certain tool for that. anyone have any insight on this?

I believe on the 6th gens there are two screws that allow you to adjust your headlights up and down and left and right. You need a long phillips head screwdriver and have to find the screws. I don't know the exact location of them though.

okay I guess there isn't any screws
just take a long phillips head screwdriver and put it straight down b/t the little hole in the frame of the car (immediately after the headlight housing) (in the upper tie bar) and keep going until it touches the gears. I think that one (on the outside more) adjusts the up and down. To go left and right (which might be up or down), go more from the middle of the car, near the grille, at angle to teh headlight.
If you are standing looking at the headlights from the front of the car, point the screwdriver at about a 45 degree angle to the left and you'll find the adjustment on thh left headlight (ur left b/c ur looking at it from the front) close to where the light frame narrows.
