if i get a universal wideband o2 sensor is there anything else i will need? and will the readings work with my digital narrow band A/F gauge?

No, you will need the rest of the expsensive electronic equipment, or everyone ( including me)and there mother would have a wideband setup. That is if you mean that you would just be buying the actual replacement sensor, and not the rest of the stuff. Not to sure what you mean. Hope this helps.

That is fine, since it includes the display unit. PLX is a common WBO2 used among DSMlinkers, with the most common probably being the techedge unit (www.wbo2.com). In my experience it can be tough to see the display when you are trying to drive the car at full throttle, and the tenth digit is jumping around. Much easier to log it in DSMlink or similar and review it later next to rpm. Some of the WBO2 units include rpm logging capability and laptop software. But either way, a WBO2 is extremely helpful when used properly. I really wish I had bought one like 5 years ago. Same with DSMlink. Just one of those must have mods right out of the gate.

IIRC, it was in the low 300s in that ebay add. Thats about right. The one I use was less than 300, but the display does add nearly 100 bucks. If you are refering to the prices on the wbo2 site, dont forget that is in austrailian dollars, not US. 300-400 is par for the course.
