Has anyone seen Fujimi's new Toyota Celica 2.8 Hi-detail mechanism ? Is it a reissue or new tooling? This one appears to come with full engine detail, sort of like the enthusiast series.

I think that's the one that Supaman89T found on www.weberplasticmodels.com Is it the 1/24 scale version? Pretty kick butt model. Full engine detail, full suspension, heck even the wheel hubs have tiny wheel studs for the wheels to mount to. The wheels are neither mail or female.

Fujimi's new Toyota Celica 2.8 Hi-detail mechanism ?
He did say Celica...
Which is the MkII Supra, not the III.
I'm not sure if the kit is NOS or a re-issue but it does come with a very nice 2.8 twin cam, I think you have to cut the hood open on your own.
:licka:
I bought one of these when they came out about a dozen years ago, so new?

The site we had ordered from had both the MKII and MKIII. SupaMan89T was just saying he stumbled across the MKII while looking for the MKIII. Coincidently the site had both and bunch of others from that series such as the Cresta and Soarer. It does look pretty old though, Fujimi logo is different. But it is very cool for having the engine detail and complete suspension detail. Way better than the typical Fujimi chassis for the same car.

yes you do have to cut the hood open but its very much worth it and the 2.8 twin cam is the 5m-ge motor and it has triple webber carbs!
