after 4 or 5 minutes of running for some reason my front seal under the timing chain starts leaking oil, this is really starting to piss me off since i just got it back together. The first time it leaked i figured i screwed up so i replaced all new gaskets on the front of the engine. well this time it ran fine for about 5 minutes then it started leaking again
any ideas?????????

Are you sure you're putting the crankshaft seal in the right way? Lip only goes in one direction. Also, when you put the balancer/crank pulley back in, you need to put some oil on it otherwise it can tear the seal when being installed.

maybe a bent crank?? hope not! if you have a dial indacator, you could check for shaft run out.

could it some how be built up pressure in crankcase, the other day when I had it running the oil cap was getting blown off, it seems to me its not venting very good. could this be the problem???
And on a side not these chrome valve covers i bought have a god damn baffle right where u pour oil in, when i put oil in it it took me seriously about 20 minutes
