since gas prices are going up like a bitch i decided i couldn't pay for premium anymore. i also i couldn't build my h22 motor in my 4th gen. and drive it everyday....wasn't gonna work. anyways, so i decided to buy another car. i looked an 88-91 CRX. he told me it was an 87, but i knew it was the 88-91 model. anyways, i'm buying it for $700! the motor, tranny, interior, exterior, and even the ac blows cold!! it's a steal!
i'm gonna use that car as a daily driver and transfer the insurance from the prelude to the CXR. my prelude's all paid for so i don't have to pay for shit! while my lude sleeping in the garage i'm gonna be purchasing parts and dumping them in my lude. i'm going to take the whole engine apart and build it. once its all done, i'll put insurance on it and she'll be back on the road! then i'll build the REX....lol
i just thought this would be a good read(sorry so long...i was bored!)

Funny you should mention that, about a week ago a friend of mine and I brought home a red five speed 87 CRX Si. Apparently half the year CRXs were made in the old body style and half in the new, because this one was the newer body. Brought home with a Magnaflow catback for $100, it was the best find ever.

the motor has 145,000 miles, which its nothing cause its a honda. I always wanted to build a car, its my goal! i'm very competitive when it comes to racing, which is why i'm goin to build my H22.
i'm planning to buy parts slowly cause i am on a budget(like everyone else!). like i said, my lude is paid for so it can sit in the garage as long as i need and at the same time i won't have to pay for gas or insurance!
anyway, i'm goin all motor(for now). i'm upgrading the exhaust sytem, pistons, rods, cams, ecu, suspension, etc.....my goal is around 250 whp. its gonna be an interesting and long process and will be done.
with the exterior.....i'm going to keep it stock and just get a nice paint job, as well as the interior. alright...enough about my car!
