DOes anyone have any before and after pics of a 4th Gen Maxima lowered???

Preferably with the stock 5-spoke alloys....but whatever works.

Also, please state what kind of springs/struts used.

I'm trying to decide between Sprints (2 in) and Eibachs (1.5in)

Thanks!

In 3 or 4 days I'm getting my digital camera and I'll be able to send you some pictures of my 96 GLE on H&R - 1.4" Drop with Mille Miglia Evo Chrome 18" x 8" 5 spoke wheels. I'm not really sure about the other lowering springs, but if I where you , I wouldn't drop the car 2 inches, cause later you'll have problems with your tires, negative chamber, they will use much faster. Plus your tires and mags may not fit propely. If you go for performance go with 1.5 drop from Eibach (with requires sometimes the chamber ajustement kit), but if you want performance and comfort I would highly recommend H&R springs. One thing that would make the 2 inch drop a pain in the ass it the fact that you cannot ajust the chamber or align the rear wheels in the maximas after 1994. Anyways, good luck with your choice, I'll send you the pictures as soon as I'll have em. Peace .:sun:

Hmmm....

On the maxima.org forums I've talked to 6 people with Sprint 2" drop springs.

Everyone concurs that the camber is not changed by dropping it, and they all have had no problems whatsoever.

I already bought the Sprinta, but the person that sold it to me said that if it caused ANY problems, he would take them back within 90 days..

So I don't have a whole lot to lose....so I'm going to try it.

If it doesn't satisfy me, I'm going with H&R.

Thanks!
Ian

Try them if you can  Where I'm from we get too much snow. Dropping the car 2 inches would be a big problem for my back (plowing the snow). Let me know if you had any kind of problems with da drop. Thanx.

I live in Seattle...it maybe snows 2 inches 2 or 3 times on a regular year and a foot maybe ONCE on a very bad year.

So I'm not too worried about that...besides, I live downtown and work downtown, and I can walk to work if I have to.

The roads here are pretty bad because of all the rain, tho....gotta be careful.
