a stock turbo has an internal wastegate so if you would put a bigger turbo that has an external wastegate, how would you connect it.

you would use a manifold or 02 housing that has an external wastegate flange

When the wastegate is connected to the manifold where does the other hole of the wastegate go. Ive been looking at the t-4 turbo on ebaymotors and im not sure how it connects.

It will either reroute back into the exhuast, or get dumped to the atmopshere (illegal, and loud as hell).

The sensor that is connected to the intake manifold, if its not connected properly would it make a difference how the car runs. The little wire that connect to the sensor are burned up that is why I ask.

Intake or Exhaust manifold? Any sensor on either are probably are important enough to fix.

For someone that is racing alot do you think it does make a difference if the sensor is messed up and alot or just a little bit.

If you are still talking about the MDP, see other thread.

I didn't see the other thread, but I thought you were talking about the exhaust manifold and o2 sensor since this thread was about exhaust and wastegates. Kevin gave you an answer in the other thread.

That question is way to vague to even begin to try to answer. ;)

What do you mean??? All I know is that I lost boost from the turbo. I think its something of the intake system, like the bov.

If actual boost has dropped (on a real guage) I would start with an intake leak test.

Then what next after the intake test

buidl yourself a leak tester...there are instructions all over the net on how to do this. i think vfaq.com has them too...anyway build one, then take off your intake snorkel. put this tester on the inlet of the turbo. hook up an air compressor to it, shoot air thorugh the system. listen/feel for leaks. if any air is coming out, there is a leak and you need to fix it. common leak spots are bov, LICP, UICP, throttle body.
