Headlight Casing Paint??

So if you look at the headlight casing area it looks like some of it got messed up, is there a way to pull 'em out and paint 'em with a special paint and pop 'em back in so they look nice n black n stuff? :)

Could just tape up around them and spray paint them if your lazy. I would say it would look decent. Or you could take your time and actually remove them, but it seems like it would be more work then its worth unless its something easy about taking them out I don't see from the picture.
