85 Ram Minivan 2.2 swap to 2.5

Is it true that this can be done? I have a 2.2L now that has blown up and I was told I could swap it with a 2.5L with no alterations. Has anyone done this and know it to be true? It is carb'd and a auto tranny.

I know a guy who did it in his Aries K car. He didn't mention having to alter anything, I think he just pulled one and dropped the other...

it will bolt in but dodge never built a 2.5L with a carb so the 2.2 carb may be too small and you will have to replace the intake manifold to add the carb also i don't think it is the same bolt pattern as the 2.5 throttle body might run in some issues there but if your a handy dude i'm sure you can do it good luck
