whats the difference bodywise? i have a 98 civic lx and cant tell any difference between the 98 ex, 98 lx, 99 ex, and 99 lx. also i want to get the xenon bodykit for a 2 door 96-98 but does anyone know if it will fit on a 98 4 door without extensive mods?

First of all, the civics had the same platform and design from '96-00, so the cars are basically the same... except for some minor interior design changes, the 98's and 99's are basically the same... as for your other question, I don't know much about bodykits, so I couldn't help you there.

fenders, bumpers, grill, headlights, and hood all need to be changed for either the 96-98 vs. the 99-00

The headlights are shaped slightly different... causing the following to be different as well: hood, fender, bumper and grill. The tail lights are also different... but only in color, not in shape.

i prefer the 99-00 tails on coupes compared to the 96-98, red clear = pwnage
the interior is slightly differant too, double din style, not actually double, but kinda looks like it
