Main Fuse?

Does a 91 escort have a "main fuse"? Someone told me it did but i'm confused as to where it is!! In the fuse box? Put a new battery in and all I have are headlights, no other dash lights or no sounds when key is turned. One of my friends said I had blown my main fuse but he didnt know where it was located? Any advice from you escort people out there?? Thanks

under the hood, in the fuse box in there, not the one underneath the dash. its labeled main. I believe its 80A or maybe 60A

Hey I have a 1999 Escort ZX2 and my main fuse went out two days ago and the main fuse is under the hood. It is 90 amps and it is blue and you have to unscrew it to get it out. The fuse box is located right next
to the battery.
