I know that sounds stupid but I want to know your openion...

okay here
is it possible to convert a 03 corolla using the Matrix drivetrain from AWD system to a RWD system ><? I don't have one right now :icon16:

if it possible can you tell me how to make that ? cuz it would be cool if you have a nice 03 rwd corolla (( :lol2: yes AE03 hahahahaaaa ))

if yours is AWD then yes, you could just pull out your half shafgts and cap the holes but ud still be loosing the wmount of power as if it was awd and thats a ghetto way to do it, or you could pull out the shafts and get a diffreent differential, mabe a supra one would work? but yea thats realy the only other way ebsides getting a whole new transmission

oh well ur SOL on that one its ALOT of money, time, fabrication and hassle to convert a fwd car to AWD or RWD, youd have to fabricat new engine mounts and make it non-transverse, get a new transmission, fabricate a new driveshaft, move your gas tank, get al new suspension for the rear end, and get a rear diff tha would fit (im sure the matrix one should work)

maybe putting the whole awd system from a matrix will work. then removing the half shafts. keeps the motor transverse and saves all the front end fabrication. still have to move the rear stuff im guessing.

yes but even if you did just cap the wholes from there the halfshafts would be, you would still be loosing the power of an awd car unless yuou got a new DIFF in the awd tranney

you could just use a diffrent transmission but i woudnt know witch one to get, i over thouhgt that comment about the supra diff in the traney it would be much too big, mabe something like an aw11 tranny diff would work becuase it should be about the same size
