ABS Setup on 02' 2wd

My ABS light just popped on for no apparent reason on Sunday. Previous owner said that both front sensors have already been replaced. How is the rest of the system setup? Are there individual rear sensors? I guess it's possible a front sensor went out again. I want to try to make them replace both rear ones if the rear ones exist and that happens to be the problem.
I'm luckily still under warranty until May, so I'm not going to have to deal with it. However, I'm getting a little worried as this is the second time I've had to take it into the shop in as many months. CEL came on a month ago and they had to replace an oxygen sensor. I'm good with cars but I don't want to have to deal with a dash light every few weeks, really don't have time for it. Not to mention parts for these things aren't exactly cheap, especially electronic ones.
Also, I guess I should get my tranny flushed while it's there (42K miles) since I have yet to do it.
Thanks,
Tom

Tom, there is a ring gear & optical sensor on the inside of each front hub, and one sensor on top of the rear diff that reads a ring gear inside the diff. They call it a 3 channel ABS sytem (3 sensors). A great member on this site posted a procedure on how to jumper 2 pins on the OBDII port to give specific ABS codes. Try a search. ABS kicking in at odd times is usually a dirty/faulty sensor. If it happens often, just pull the ABS fuse so ABS wont kick in. You'll just have good 'ol fasion brakes until you can look into the issue.

Tom the fron sensors on these Rodeos have been redesigned and are complete garbage I do belive its another great GM idea I guarantee you I have replaced at least 100 of these things in the last three years no not on my own I work on Isuzus for a living nore than likely will be one of those sensors when they are replaced they are supposed to get a bead of silicone around the sensor cover if not moisture creeps in and causes problems if you have not yet taken it in to be repaired you may want to ask that the tech does seal it up
