greddy turbo timer big problem help please

I recently bought a 97 tsi. it came with a greddy turbo timer, not sure what model but it is red. The guy who sold the car never used the timer. after turning it on and off my car will not start. it counts down and everything after trying to start, but car still will not start. any help will be appreciated. thanks guys-scott

ummm did it blow a fuse?

I would still go through and double check to make sure it was done right... just a peace of mind kind of thing...
