Well i was driving the 69 around College Station and came upon a WS6 LT1 trans am. Black M6 car...We both slowed and i goosed it to let him know i meant business. He nodded so i proceeded to honk 3 times. On the third honk we both nailed it and he shifted WAY early to 3rd (we took off in middle of 2nd gear). I went on to shift my car at around 57-5800rpm and nailed third VERY quickly. I watched as my LT1 69 Camaro steadily pulled this WS6. End result is a 2 1/2-3 car victory and a new friend. Guy was really cool about it and was shocked to find out it had the same motor as his car!

no times yet...this race occured before i put a tune on the car and it's running MUCH better now. Fastest thing i've beaten was a 2001 Z28 A4 with nittos and a lid and catback and i beat it by a nose from a roll. I'd guess it's around a mid-low 13s with the tune and on the radials. Might have a co-op this summer which could mean BIG plans for my car. By the end of the summer i might have ~8-10k cash for the car...

Yes we fixed my friends car. After not finding anything and tearing off the front cover again and it checked out good we put it all together and it works...Only thing we changed was grounds were grounded a little better! It runs VERY well now. My car had an overheating problem and i havn't had a chance to check it out yet (happened day before yesterday). Hopefully no major damage but it definitly got hot enough. If it's fine then i might be up for making a trip to waco or temple for a timeslip. Wont be that impressive as traction is a serious issue but i'm thinking it should get a good 13 second pass. Gonna dyno it soon too and i'm hoping to see around 315rwhp.
