Is there a cheap / easy way to convert to rear disc brakes. I'm hoping there's another Toyota car that had rear discs as an option and can easily be adapted for the P/U. I know the older Celicas shared alot of drivetrain parts with the pickups, but I don't know if rear disc brakes was ever an option.
Also, I am planning to convert to the heavy duty front brakes w/ dual pistons. Anyone know what parts am I going to need other than the pad carriers and the calipers?

they have disk brake kits out there and they set you up with everything you need. there kinda pricy though. ive see some nice kits for $500. they give you everything you need.

There's a "not so easy way" I've heard of. If you search the internet, you'll be able to find out info on rear disk brake swaps from GM vehciles. I've heard of but don't remember too much about it. Kinda on the back burner of what I'd like to do. If you do happen to find something, could you post it for the rest of us. I'll keep my eye out as well

ok, the rear discs are on the back burner now. Looks like I would have to upgrade the master cyl. too, and that's more money than i care to shell out just to improve the 10-20% of braking the rear does.
About upgrading the fronts to dual piston calipers, anything else I need besides the calipers and pad carrers?
