problem with passenger power window switch and window go up and down but the switch for the passenger side that is located on driver side doesnt seem to work checked the switch and its okay what could be the problem?

Wires to the switch could be shorted. Without a schematic I couldn't tell you if there are relays in the system.

hope its not too little, too late. I had the same problem. I had to replace the drivers double gang switch becasue the little cover broke off. after I replaced it, i noticed that the passengers switch now works flawlessly.

I have a similar problem, my passenger window won't work from the passenger sid and this morn it went down just a bit from the driver's side but that's where its at right now.. Won't go up again, only the passenger window is in trouble.. Weird.. I'm to check that tonight after work..

same here carmac, i put my drivers side switch in the other astro and it worked, and i tested the passenger side switch in another astro and it worked, well come to find out i pulled the window motor out and its shot, it went up and down 3 inches and that was it, so had to replace the window motor, getting it out......gotta drill out the rivitets
