So I finally got my power windows in and wired up. Decided to just run a wire off my battery since it’s in the back of my car anyway. I scratched the plastic up a bit but ill buff it out with some plastic stuff I have laying around somewhere. Its dark though so ill do it tomorrow. Anyway here is the pics. Took me most of the day to get it all wired and put the door panels back on. I tightened the bolts for my windows and it works great! Sorry for the fuzzy pics camera sucks.

:naughty: wow that looks nice! Excellent location for those switches too. I would like to do that to an EF someday. Can you point me in the right direction to that SPAL window kit? And if you don't mind me asking what was the price for that setup?

I put that same kit in my car and love it, it is so much better than manual windows. You put your switches in the exact same place I put mine, except I put mine side by side. I think thats the best place for them, the only problem is passengers and people who drive my car can never figure out how to roll down the windows.

Here are some pictures of my install of a power window kit in my 91 Std HB. I got the kit off ebay, but it is not a Spal kit (noname, was a bit cheaper). It works great.
Here is the driver's side door with the power window adapter, also note the power door actuator (previously installed a power lock kit with remote).

Here is the center console with the power window switches (lighted). Note my solution for our 'cup holder problem' in the Civic. Works really good.

Here is the driver's door with the door panel back on. Note the added storage bin and the cover for where the window crank used to be. Got these bins from a 91 civic sedan. Could not install these before because the window crank would hit them.

I did mine last year, definatetly one of the most worthwhile mods Ive ever done to my car! I used to hate reaching over to roll the pass window up and down... And u choose the exact same spot as mine for the switches... I messed up doing mine tho, u can see a small slit above my switches, I cut the hole too big... But I love them! Were pretty easy to install too... Hardest part was wiring thru the doors, I said screw it and just ghetto ran them thru the fender into the engine bay, and then thru the fire wall...

lol i just reached up under the dash and took half a metal hanger stuck it threw the rubber in the door for the wires then twisted the two wires together and stuck them in the other side and grabbed them with the hanger. not too hard and it works and looks better. and i got the deluxe spal window kit. its really quiet and comes with a tool so if they break you can roll them up manually till you can fix it.
