I just had a O2 sensor replaced in my 96 Grand am se 2.4L, now if I don't let it warm up for at least 5 minutes before I take off, the car starts to stall, when it does stall, I can restart it and it runs fine, just that initial start up that it won't go anywhere. I am clueless to why it would do this, the problem started after the mechanic put the new sensor in it. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

no, no lights on at all, I am going to replace the fuel filter and see what that does.

Might want to check with the mechanic and see what brand 02 sensor he put in. Need to make sure its an OEM AC Delco. Substitute brands like Bosch, etc. can cause problems especially if its the 02 sensor on the exhaust output before the CAT convertor.

Took it back to the mechanic and he checked the code with his scan tool. now it is the other sensor, the scanner said it was oxygen sensor #2 this time, with replacing one, would the other one go too?

It depends on the age and mileage of your car. 02 sensor # 2 is the one after the CAT convertor. Many times both 02 sensors (front & rear) should be changed at the same time. The rear 02 sensor references off of the first 02 sensor via the ECU computer to determine the effciency of the CAT convertor.
You might have the mechanic make sure the CAT convertor is not clogged and good to go. A clogged or damaged CAT convertor can give you a power loss not to mention other problems.
