Help with Connector on firewall!

I have a red with blue stripe and a yellow wire on a connector hanging on the firewall. What exactly does that go to. It does not connect to anything. Thanks.

is it on the driver side and what year is it

1994 driver side near coil

how do you use it to set timing? It isnt the 5 port jumper port.

yes it connecects to something it a fuel injector resisstor should be an aluminume box (small) with a heat sink on it

mine still has that next to the strut tower. This is left of the coil.

sorry yer right i deleted that post but not soon enough i guess it it is the fuel injector resisstor plug

does it have a use or need to be plugged to anything?

as far as i know it need to be pluged into the box that contain the resistor

you are refering to the yellow connector on the far right

where the two clips are holding the wiring harness to firewall left of the coil, it is in between them. you can barely see it. It is a small two wire pigtail.

i think it is nothing to worry about but ill look give me a minute and ill let you know

cant find it on all data but there are a shit load of splices so i could look for ever and still not find any thing i would say if it isnt a problem dont worry about it lots of cars have lots of diferent open conectors for opional accesories and test ports and such so if you dont have a problem i would just leave it alone
