h22 question

Is there any way for me to throw a h22a into a 89-91 civic hatchback? I know I can do it into a 92 and above but I would really like to do it to a 89-91. If someone can answer that question for me I would greatly appreciate it.

One of my co workers had done it waaaayy back in the day. He said he would never recommend it for an EF unless it's a purpose built drag car. He said there is no room for anything but the motor. And as stated above, alot of cutting and manipulating in the engine bay to make it fit.

it took me just a day to do it..piece of cake man..

Another big reason why it's mainly just recommended for a drag car is because of the weight - our little 4th gens aren't built to handle that amount of weight up front and it messes with your cornering. For a street car or auto-x or something like that I'd recommend a different motor, but if it's what you want and it's just for a drag car, then I'd say go for it if it's what you want.

i did the swap not for drag racing but for showing off only...my project is a swow car

no pics yet till i get my project 100 percent completed. the swap was pretty easy. my h22 was a half cut. its came with everything like full suspension, frame, wiring etc. 90 percent of the work was just cutting and welding of the front end. the swap was easy for me cus i do auto bodywork for a living. i will post some pics maybe next week
