help buying bulbs

i have a 2004 XE KC n i wanna buy brighter bulbs for my headlights n foglights. how do i decide what to buY? also, my fog lights are aftermarket cuz the dealership wouldnt install real ones for me so i have my lights spliced with the parking lights. any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

I don't have any advice on the bulbs but I would hook the fog lights to something other than the parking light wiring. Parking lights typically use small wiring with a low current capacity, fog lights use a lot more current and installing brighter bulbs will make matters worse. If you have ever experienced a wiring meltdown you know what I mean. It's best to run them from the battery on a fused wire through a relay. If you still want the fog lights to come on with the parking lights you can safely use the parking lights to turn on the relay.

If I remember correctly, you have to use 9004 bulbs for my Frontier '00, if you get cool blue or SilverStar, they're pretty bright...
I have no clue what kind of fog light you installed, so that's up to you to find brighter bulbs.

BTW, Foglights, you should run a straight line from battery > inline fuse > switch and have it in the truck where you can turn it on and off... running it on the parking light is NOT good... cuz I did that and when I turn my fog lights on, I can see it dimming the parking light...
after I rerun the wires, they look a lot brighter.
