First off, remember I run 5800 feet above sea level.
Here is the clip...

The stock clutch said no. It wouldn't allow me to launch hard at all. If I did come off the line hard, it wouldn't disengage properly. The run you see in the video comes with a 2.428 60' time, basicly me rolling the car off the line.

Thats a impressive time for those 2 disadvantages can't wait to see what you can do with a heavy duty clutch and sea level man.

Less air. Car basicly doesn't breathe well.
Actual times = 14.108 at 105.23 MPH
NHRA corrected times = 13.08 at 113.3 MPH
That is using the official NHRA correction factors.

Nice run and a great time.
I heard the T/A's had clutch problems up until 2002 when they put the Z06 clutch behind the LS1.

Well, it wasn't the best clutch in the first place, but the actual problem was the clutch hydrolics. 98-00 cars need upgraded hydrolics when a new clutch goes in. Getting those parts as well.

Iron!!! Strength in iron.
Those times actually suck. For what I was dealing with that day, they are terrible, but yeah.
Shot clutch on DR's, and 5800 feet above sea level. That equals bad times. I have a friend that ran a 13.05 at 105. I ran 14.1 at 105. Terrible.

The MPH proves theres some power in that thing. Especially @ 5800ft above sea level!! Definately keep us posted on the 402 build up. A friend of mine has a iron block 408 in his T/A He's not real pleased with it. I think his just has a poor tune though. There's plenty of other people sporting similar set ups making killer power.

I have read of guys with the exact set-up I will have, minus 90mm intake, and with the LS2 aluminum block making 550 to the wheels. Of course, that is with some REALLY expensive heads. And a compression ratio around 11.5:1. Which I plan on putting on there, eventually. My realistic goal is 500 RWHP with this motor. Maybe a little less.
The guys that built the motor recently made 507 RWHP with a 383, mild heads, and the cam going into my 402. She should be a runner.
