In 2002 the dashboard on my 2000 Ram 1500 cracked to pieces. It was over the mileage warranty so of course Daimler/Chrysler has done nothing. If you have had the same problem or have info that may help, please email.

Hi, John M. here. I have a 97 RAM 1500 and the plastic dash was cracked in three places, from the windshield almost to the dashboard edge. I got a pre-formed dash cover from Genos Garage for $55.00 and change(61.xx with shipping). Installed in minutes with velcro- really looks great and completely covers the cracks.(Hint-follow the directions about letting the sunlight warm it before using the velcro and USE the alcohol pads to clean the old dash before sticking on the velcro). Good luck. John M www.genosgarage.com
