Why the Eclipse wasn't made for groceries...

Wellll during the winter, a couple months ago I was driving home and I happened to have a gallon of milk in thefront seat that I had just bought.
It was snowing out and some jackass in front of me was doing 20 in a 55, so I passed him and I get almost home thinking that everything is fine. Well on the road right before my neighborhood, there is a dumbass driving in my lane. I honk at him and have to dodge to avoid him, and I hear something pop. I'm thinking that it's a tire or suspension part busy trying to break. So I get home about a minute later, pull into the garage to look at the car. And I get out and look all over the car, at the tires and everything. I give up and open the passenger door to get milk and...turns out the pop was the milk hitting the floor and the top busting off, thus spilling a gallon of milk inside my car. I bust out the shopvac and vacuum all of it up...Or so I thought.
Fast forward 3 months to spring
Now it's starting to get warmer and I notice a funny smell developing in the car, smells really bad actually. So I unbolt my seats and look at the carpet and realize that milk got under the seats and I missed it with the shopvac.
Fast forward another month and 100 dollars wasted later
Working on the car, I decide to clean the car, wash it and wax it and all that, but I also decide that since I'll already have my power washer hooked up, that I'll go ahead and power wash the carpet to get out some recent stains. I take the carpet out and lo and behold, the cause of the smell was that the milk had soaked into the insulation. So of course, that would explain why the car would smell progressively worse as I drove it, because the heat of the exhaust under the car would heat up the insulation, and cause the smell to get worse. So I now have to throw out the carpet and buy a new one.
To make a long story short, I need a carpet for my 97 Eclipse GS coupe. Would anyone happen to know where I can get one cheap because until I do, I'm gonna have some buddies with hot feet. Also, the power lock and window unit on the passenger side broke a while ago and after taking off the door today, I found that it was caused by the plastic that the screws are driven into on the underside of the storage area had broken. Has this happened to anyone else?

Pretty sure you can get new carpeting from the dealer...or try
http://www.accmats.com
And of course there's always that cheap shit at places like O'Reilly's that you cut and put in yourself.

Well I've got some time to search for a replacement carpet though, my engine blew Friday afternoon about 300 feet from my house. The bad luck never ends...
