i have a 1992 honda prelude which is the canadian vesion the sir. my question is which body type would it be because im looking at sites for things like exhausts and they ask for the body type and my options are si, s, or vtec so which one do i go with. also i swapped the h23 for the jdm h22a so when im looking for things like internals will i need to get specifically jdm products. thanks for the help.

I always thought CDM models came in SR (si), SR-V (vtec). As far as engine parts is concerned, if you have an H22A then any 92-01 2.2L VTEC part you come across should fit (minus the occasional supercharger or whatnot). Exhausts depend on how you went about swapping, but mostly has to do with the position of your catalytic converter.

My 92 is also the SIR (Canadian) Engine-wise it's a H23A1, body-wise I've always purchase parts for the Si Model, but it seems to have the VTEC Brake setup. Don't know if that's any help.
