Anyone watched it? Well, still watching it? Kinda scary isn't it?
I lost my remote so I;ve been stcuk on the discovery channel and some others around it but what is with the Discovery channel and disaster shows. Apparently there's also a volcano off of Africa that in a few more eruptions, like our grandkids lifetime or our kids even, that a side of the island will fall into the water and destroy the east coast 12 miles in. Now that's a tsunami.
Just freaky shit, especially since it's all unpredictable. But for me, I ain't worried. I don't believe it'll happen so soon ike they say. Vesuvius is well overdue and nothing has happened yet. In comparison by ratio to Yellowstone, meh. They're eveing and both are quite stable.
What do ya'll think?

This is at least the second special they've had on super valcanos. Its amazing how much damage one could do to the whole planet (aside from the surrounding hundreds of miles). Its a quick reminder that we are at the mercy of mother nature and there is little we can do about it.
