Cd Player

I have a 2001 Alero GLS with the factory installed cd/ cassette player. My problem is that the cd player will not play any cd's. It always have this error code "check Cd". Can anyone help.

I have the same car but the first week I had I tossed the radio.. Gots to have a better radio with subs........

It could be that the laser in the player is bad. You can get a CD player that fits in your car for under $100 on ebaymotors.com

If your car is still under worrenty, thats coverd. take ithe car and and tell them you want a new cd player. oe, that is.
