turbo in..

just got my turbo off of boostdesigns, the T3/TO4E. jesus christ, i didnt think it was going to be that big!! the thing is massive, but overall im happy to be one step closer to ka-t.

So what's left before you can install it all?

oil lines, ecu, IC kit, bov, injectors, z32 mafs, mafs adaptor and filter.
i just purchased the wastgate, and fuel pump about 3 days ago..so im hoping by the end of summer ill have it all ready to install.

no it doesnt, thats one of the first things i looked for, because there are some shitty "wannabe" garrett turbo's going around.

Cool. Another person I saw on NICO has a turbo ZY turbo that he got from boostdesigns. His is still working, but after that thread I saw on honda-tech, I wouldn't put one on my shelf.

everything i listed above is what i need to achieve my hp goal of >280whp. then again, i want to go with the ecu..and so i would rather have enthalapy tune the ecu for z32 mafs, and ~500cc injectors, and never have to worry about it, rather than having to send it back and getting it retuned.

Not to mention, it covers both fuel and timing.

which will in the end save me 235907260.5 headaches.

Werd. I wanna switch my fuel system over to my built engine when I finish it and be able to safely do 400whp.

Then tell all the guys at the dyno that its the same one that made 280whp the last time I was out here.lol

when random people ask me what i have under the hood i just say its stock. i fail to mention that its a sr20 though. i simply say "its stock"

if you wanted 280whp why didn't you just get a t28? you're spending way more than you have to for a measily 30whp over the t25... it doesn't make sense. switching manifolds, spending another 500 or so, etc.

you coulda just got injectors/maf/safc and be done with it with a t28. it doesnt take much to get to 280whp.

Its always nice to have room to safely grow.

almost positive i said > 280whp. im never going to stop working on this car for a very long time, there is no way im going to stop building horsepower, i mean have you ever said, " well thats enough horsepower for me. " i dought it. room to grow is exactly right.

Nice and im glad to be back, i havent posted in like 3 months but im glad to be back...im currently selling my s13 and picking up an s14 for 2500, and prolly gunna get away with 1200-1500 in my pockets. But im just not sure what to do with it, i need wheels because its a base model but if i got wheels (FN01R-Cs) i would need to do the 5 lug conversion. But i want power too, ugh soooooo hard haha.
